Abstract

This report examines ICF's Global Leaders Forum 2016 hosted by the International Coaching Federation in Charlotte on March 3 with the participation of ICF's chapter leaders from all over the world. The report aims to reveal primary issues facing the international coaching industry today. Section I briefly discusses ICF's background and the increase in the number of ICF members in the world which may be proportional to the development of this forum and coaching culture itself. Section II explores a variety of core issues such as the relevance of the forum's theme selection, the overall organization of the event, questions raised by coaching leaders during group discussions, and the analysis of successful cases. The report concludes with the author's insight into the coaching industry and people of Japan and other Asian regions.
