Purpose: This study aimed to clarify elucidate experienced the practical knowledge of experienced nurses' practical knowledge regarding in providing the perioperative care to of patients with comorbid diabetes as a comorbid condition. Methods: Data were collected through focus group interviews and subsequently analyzed utilizing the KJ Method, a Qualitative Synthesis approach Method(KJ Method). Results: Expert nurses performed carried out "unified early intervention based on careful assessment of self-care status" at the time of admission, and together with "timely intervention based on assessment of postoperative status" in the postoperative period. Furthermore, expert nurses were increasingly implementing "guidance that is not unreasonable, taking hospitalization as an opportunity to improve patients' self-care" and "minimum necessary guidance limited by length of hospitalization or patient refusal of treatment". Expert nurses were able to "connect with physicians inside and outside the hospital based on their own understanding of postoperative changes" while and, at the same time, to establishing a "support system for ward nurses to be established". The results showed that expert nurses established a support system for ward nurses. Discussion: The findings suggest that expert nurse's practical knowledge of expert nurses, extends beyond tailored perioperative nursing care tailored to that actively promotes the reconstruction of diabetes self-care.
