Materials Related to the Silkscreen Print ORDER MADE Series

Abstract

  Keiichi Tanaami is an internationally acclaimed artist whose continued creative endeavors span a wide range of fields, including painting, video, and graphic design. This article introduces interviews with him and related materials about his silkscreen print ORDER MADE Series, created in 1965. By collecting “memories” based on his subjective experiences and emotions, and “records” that are objective documentary evidence, his creative works can be reexamined from a multitude of different perspectives.
