Abstract
This study aims to examine the characteristics of the awareness transformation process that occurs as childcare workers recognize discrepancies in their understanding of young children and move toward initiating practices to address them. The study employs Trajectory Equifinality Modeling (TEM) to clarify and illustrate this process. As a result, the researcher identified two key findings. First, the active agency of childcare workers is consistently present throughout the process. Second, the recognition of discrepancies acts as a catalyst, enabling childcare workers to gain valuable insights, devise strategies, and experience a sense of joy. After outlining these findings, the study discusses the potential for developing programs that support childcare workers in setting and pursuing action oriented goals related to the recognition of discrepancies, with the aim of enhancing their self-efficacy.
