More than two hundred specialists in various fields of researches from thirty countries successfully convened at the IAEA Symposium. An introductory description of the background and the organization, and some impressions of the Symposium are given. An arbitrary introduction is also made for 7 sessions of Future Technology Requirements, Safeguards, Fission Product Nuclear Data, Fusion Research, Evaluated Neutron Data Files, Compilation and Evaluation-Data Centres, and Large Volume Compilations out of 16 sessions in total.
