The Special Committee on Reactor Noise Analysis of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan was established in May 1963. The Committee carried out the survey on studies in the field of reactor noise in this country and abroad. The Committee also contributed to exchange of information and to active discussions among the Committee members, which induced the Society to extend the life of the Committee to 1967.
Major activities of the Committee cover, among other items, work related to the theoretical aspects of reactor noise and the relation between reactor noise and control which are presented in this report.
The Committee's activities related to experimental work will be reported on a separate occasion.
