A review is presented covering the present status of studies undertaken in thermoelectric and thermionic conversion, radioisotopes batteries, and Klein effect. Problems involved in high temperature gas-cooled nuclear reactors associated with magnetohydrodynamic power generation are also mentioned. An article on magnetohydrodynamic power generation appeared in the preceding journal.
