Abstract
What should be taught as an elemental and basic knowledge of the clothing in the elementary school? Through the fact finding research of the average knowledge about clothing and detergent in Ishikawa prefecture, I studied (1) how various sorts of materials for clothing and detergent are being used, (2) how the consumers are protected by law, (3) the relation this subject has with others in their curriculum, etc.. Combining these elements, I devised an experimental plan which is shown here.
