1. One of the basic conditions for making a sort of bag is to cut and sew the cloth in such a way as the angle ∠ABC (which is made up by hypotenuse AB and diagonal CB) shows 45°. (conf.p. 70) I devised a method of teaching elementary school students how they can easily measure the length of the line AB upon the basis of the length of diagonal CB. 2. As to needlework, I decided the three different stages according to the students' proficiency and their sewing speed. Then, I gave them three animent melodies by which they might delightfully engage in this monotonous work. It was surely said that this experiment was a great success.
