Abstract

Skarns st the lithological boundaries between khondalite and dolomitic marble consist of Zone 1 (Phl±Cpx±Spl±Carb), Zone 2 (Cpx+Spl), Zone 3 (Cpx+Pl±Scp), Zone 4 (Cpx+Pl+Sph±Opx±Scp±Afs±Qtz) from the side of dolomitic marble to khondalite. Khondalite in the vicinity of skarns shows mineral textures indicative of partial melting. The possibility of reactions between the melt and dolomitic marble will be discussed.
