Abstract
Mn-bearing hellandite-(Y) occurs as pinkish yellow tiny granular crystals in the Sc-rich granite pegmatite form Heftetjern, Tørdal, Telemark, Norway. The present hellandite-(Y) specimen can be characterized with the Mn2+, a new constituent of hellandite group minerals.
