Mössbauer microspectometer for geosciences

Abstract

A Mössbauer microspectrometer using multi-capillary X-ray lens (MCX) was improved by adding mechanical micro-stages to move precisely MCX and pinhole at the focus and laser to confirm mechanical center of the optics to the last Mössbauer microspectrometer.  As the results, ganma-ray intensity spectra of low background were measured and well resolved Mössbauer spectra of Fe foil were confirmed.
