Abstract
In this study, we found a chrome omphasite and Kosumochlor to Richter amphibole in the Niigata Prefecture Itoigawa Kanayamadani upstream. We used TEM (JEOL JEM-2010) and EPMA (JEOL JXA-8600) composition analysis. Kosumochlor is scattered into particles of several mm to Richter amphibole in thin section from observation. SEM (JSM-6510LA) obserbed that a porous chromite is included has been revealed. EPMA composition analysis was Kosumochlor containing chromium of 12.923 wt% maximum. Structural defects were not observed in Kosumochlor and chrome omphacite by High-resolution electron microscope (HRTEM).
