Abstract
We studied the precursory eruption products for Aso-4 and Aira eruptions in order to understand the changes in the magma supply system of large caldera-forming eruptions.  They include (1a) Omine pyroclastic cone and associated Takayubaru lava flow west of Aso caldera, (1b) tephra and minerals included in Hanafusa formation west of Aso caldera, (1c) Aso 3/4 pumice fall between Aso-4 pyroclastic flow deposit and Ata tephra found in the east of Aso caldera.  (2) A series of precursory volcanic products of Aira eruption.
