Abstract
In order to reveal the change of dislocation structure in olivine accompanied with a serpentinization in the olivine + antigorite binary system, dislocations in olivine were observed by the oxidation-decoration method under FE-SEM and optical microscope. In contrast with olivine in antigorite-poor sample whose dislocation walls show various slip systems, [001] straight dislocation suggesting practically immobile screw dislocation is observed characteristically in antigorite-rich sample.
