Lodranite NWA 2235 has a coarse-grained texture consisting of euhedral olivine and poikilitic low-Ca pyroxene and augite that enclose olivine. A few olivine grains enclose SiO2-rich glasses. Olivine LPO is characterized by a point maximum of b-axis and a girdle of c-axis. Olivine grain shape oriented to the normal direction to the b-axis point maximum. These results indicate that NWA 2235 is a cumulate rock formed in the magma chamber rather than a residual rock.
