Mineralogical Study and ε⁵⁴Cr of Brachinite Clan Meteorites

Abstract

Brachinites are thought to be one of primitive achondrite groups and are known to have ancient crystallization ages. They are keys to understand the early stage of planetary differentiation in our Solar System. However, there have not been a consensus on their origin. In this study, we report mineralogy and Cr stable isotopic compositions of three brachinites. We plan to measure olivine fabrics using EBSD and will report their data at the meeting.
