Abstract
Amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC, CaCO3・nH2O), a metastable hydrous phase of calcium carbonate, is known as a precursor material of crystalline phases of calcium carbonate. Here we report decrease of crystallization temperature of ACC induced by pressurization. The crystallization temperature was decreased from 300 ℃ to 150 ℃ by the pressurization.
