This essay investigates the image of political cartoons in June 1992. It is argued that "Political Ethics" in political cartoons is about the specific politicians not about politicians in general. This focus on individuals is due to the change in the environment of political cartoons. The rapid development in television has made much effect on newspapers and the cartoons in them. The immediacy of the media has been accelerated in cognition and emotion. The function of television makes it easier to see the meaning of political cartoons. On the other hand, this leads to cartoonists having to develop skills in representing or depicting stereotypes, meaning that they have to pay close attention to the caricature of a person's mannerisms, peculiar features and gestures.
