Abstract

There are some systematic approaches about transport activity for the injured by supposing the transport time uniquely. However, the transport time may be irregular in consequence of road traffic condition, weather one and so on. It is necessary to develop an evaluation system with life saving curve and probabilistic distribution of transport time for life saving of the injured.

In this study, we define the reliability of life saving system by the reliability analysis to evaluate the transport system. As the result of a case study that an airplane accident might break out at Kansai International Airport, it becomes clear that the traditional method might underestimate the risk for the injured and the time zone where the life saving opportunity becomes high can be identifi by the proposed method.
