In order to promote IT revolution efficiently and effectively in dental field, it is indispensable to grasp the consciousness of dentists and implement IT revolution designedly according to the condition of them.
Therefore, in this paper, we conducted the questionnaire survey against all dentists in Aichi prefecture and analyzed major three items: utilization of information equipments; consciousness about IT revolution of dental clinics; IT revolution of dental association office. And we discussed the subjects and problems of promoting IT revolution in dental field.
From the results of this analysis, we knew I. Young dentists recognize necessity of IT revolution for dental clinics better than older dentists; II. Enhancing service is most significant as a purpose or desired effect of IT revolution at dental clinics; III. Board members recognize the necessity of IT revolution at dental association office better than regular dentists and etc.
