Development of New System Supporting Handicapped for the Pilgrimage of Temples in Shikoku

Abstract

 We have developed a new system which supports handicapped people for the pilgrimage of Temples in Shikoku. This system provides two way communication between a tourist and his family. Tourist’s information is provided for the server and regularly renewed during the trip. And his family can access to the information at any time.

 This system is characterized by full utilization of mobile communication measures such as cellular phone, mobile computer, PHS etc., and support of both a tourist and his home.
