Abstract

Recently Japanese consumer’s demands for amenities have been increased and they pay more attentions to their body odors. Therefore various deodorant-finished fibers and fabrics have been developed. In such a background, we had examined deodorant finish and fungicide deodorant finish for wool fabrics. In results we succeeded in developing “Deodorant Finish ; Self-Etiquette” and “New Deodorant & Fungicide deodorant Materials ; V-CAT® Finish”. In this article, we explain about the performance of deodorization which wool originally has, and the processing of deodorant finish on wool fabrics.
