Abstract
Many kinds of pollutants exist in our living environment, which can cause illness, and there is a pressing need to develop a means to reduce them. This can be achieved through use of the aromatic components of wood as an essential oil. Not only does the essential oil enhance a sense of well-being through antioxidants and relaxation, it can eliminate bad odors and environmental pollutants. As well as removing harmful substances and bad odors, this essential oil has the effect of increasing comfort, for example, through relaxation, and can improve air quality.
