Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine harmony relationship between color and fragrance. The MILD and CLEAR factors were derived for dimensions in impressions of colors and fragrances. Using these factors as variable, predictive formulas of harmonious relationship between them were constructed. In addition, we investigated the effect of color and fragrance combinations. As a result, the matching combinations cumulatively strengthened the impression and reduced more mental stress than the mismatched combination. Moreover, we confirmed the predictive formulas reversibly, and suggested a harmonious model between color and fragrance.
