About Laws and Measuring Methods regarding Environment and Offensive Odor in People’s Republic of China and Shanghai —From lectures of China’s gas emissions measurement, treatment technology diffusion and standardization support of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)—

Abstract

For the lectures mentioned above, which were requested by Japan External Trade Organization (hereinafter referred to as JETRO), in addition to the lectures from Japan side, Professor Ph.D. Guangli Xiu (National Environmental Conservation Chemical Engineering Process, Environmental Risk Assessment and Control Focus Laboratory, East China University of Science and Technology, School of Resources Environment Engineering) from Shanghai delivered a lecture on environmental laws mainly focused on offensive odor in People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as China) and Shanghai. Also, Senior Engineer Song Zhao (Shanghai Environmental Monitoring Center) lectured on measuring methods regarding offensive odor.
