Abstract
At the 3rd Academic Conference of The Japan Association of Occupational Health Law, the main theme of the ‘Case Study’ session was the examination of litigation cases related to mental disorders. During this session, a case was discussed where an employee, suspected of having a mental disorder after causing problems at work, was the subject of deliberation. The focus was on how to handle issues faced by workers struggling with gender dysphoria or gender incongruence in the workplace. This topic is herein sort out and considered from the perspective of a corporate human resources manager.
