Abstract
Currently, active learning and 21st century skills are the focus of attention, and research is active as the purpose of learning is transforming from knowledge acquisition to knowledge creation. In this study, we focus on individual-themed, knowledge-creating learning, design and develop a knowledge-creating learning support system and apply it to research activities. Specifically, we conducted an experiment in which 10 graduate students wrote sentences on their own research themes on the system, updated their progress and sentences for 4 weeks, and evaluated changes in the use of the system and the quality of their sentences. In addition, a questionnaire was administered to assess emotions and motivation, and correlation analysis was conducted for each evaluation item. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between the number of progress updates and the quality of writing was 0.75, and the correlation coefficient between positive emotions and motivation was 0.84, indicating a strong correlation.
