Abstract
In this report, a new 2-D finite point meshless method for computational mechanics is proposed. This new computational method is true meshless method and is derived based on the combination of the concept of isoparametric element and the meshless concept. The computational process is simpler than that of conventional finite element method. Several physical and static solid mechanics examples are analyzed by means of present meshless method. Numerical results show that the present method gives rational accuracy.
