Abstract
A solution of elasticity problems or flow problems may include rigid body movements and pressure lifting. Therefore, a weak form of the problem is defined on the function space with constraints to remove these ambiguity of the solution. Finite element equation is formulated using a stiffness matrix with the whole degrees of freedom and an orthogonal projection. To apply `iterative substructuring method' to this equation, the orthogonal projection is decomposed with respect to a domain decomposition. The solvability of a Schur complement system of the iterative substructuring method is discussed.
