Abstract
Systems with much symmetry often encounter multiple bifurcation due to its symmetries. Periodic structures have much translational symmetry and thus numerical analysis of those structures has suffered from infinite combinations of bifurcation modes at multiple bifurcation points. In this context, we here introduce a method to categorize the bifurcation modes on the basis of their symmetries with thehelp of block-diagonalization method. Feasibility of this method is discussed by means of honeycomb cellular solids.
