Abstract

To investigate the internal flow about a coronary artery of the heart, we accomplished the simulation of the flow in the straight pipe with the effect of hyperelasticity, previously. In this research, it was confirmed that it is necessary to take into account of the interactive effect between the fluid and vessel wall. From the results, the simulation was performed about the flow in the pipe with branch which is characteristic to coronary artery and the internal flow situation and distribution of the shear stress were obtained.
