Abstract
This report is on the lecture and pructice of dance education for mentally disabled children at the professinal course for special education in HCM City, Vietnam on the 12th to the 14th of January 2004.
The program is following:
First day: to experience the dance for mentally disabled children
Second day: the leading method of dance for mentally disabled children-to copy the chileren's movements
Third day: practice of leading dance class by students
Dance (Expressive Movement) is a chance for mentally disabled children to show their ability. To copy the chileren's movements as the leading method of dance helped students who had less experience of dance to lead the dance class. Children showed their ability at the dance class, and enjoyed dancing.
