Abstract
Christianity has been rapidly growing in Nepal. And local Christians are often criticized by non-Christians as using Christianity "instrumentally," for escaping from caste system or attaining some kinds of benefits. Foreign missionaries, too, criticize the instrumental belief of local Christians. How local Christians react, then? This presentation is to pursue the narratives of instrumentalism by various actors involved.
