Abstract
This paper examines the environmental justice movement on uranium mining developments in the southwest USA. Since last year Mt. Taylor, a sacred mountain recognized by nearby tribes, was awarded the state traditional cultural property, it created many conflicts because the area contained rich uranium resources. MASE (Multicultural Alliance for Safe Environment) raises the voices of people of color who were most impacted by the developments.
