Abstract

In Hokkaido University of Education, most students are from Hokkaido. Their general image of Ainu is `ancient' or `exploitation and discrimination by Japanese' in the history. But it has been changed as `isolated culture' or `the massacre by Japanese' for several years.With exploring the cause of the image formation, I present the appropriate learning abujects to Ainu cultural understanding.
