Abstract
There is a study that discusses employment life called "Kyaria research". In Japan, research is conducted on imported concepts as symbolized by this "katakana" term. Those who study career continuity in the West find it easy to distinguish between objective and subjective careers. In contemporary Japanese society, however, this distinction is blurred" (Plath 1983). "Kyaria research" relies on foreign theories and psychology, it is fraught with various problems. For example, if practiced in Japan, the concept of "self-reliance" may lead to isolated and solitary human resources, since the conceptual research of foreign countries (mainly the U.S.) has been conducted without examining its suitability in Japan. This paper re-evaluates the concept of "Michizure" derived from the study of "Long Engagements. Maturity in Modern Japan, " which has been neglected in "Kyaria research", and proposes a study of <Toki no wadachi> in the <Shokuba>.
