Abstract
Generative AI learns from vast amounts of data and creates new information (generated information) based on prompts. However, this information is an "information module" that lacks meaning and context, failing to reflect the inputter's situation or intent. Therefore, for the social and technological utilization of generated information, human "meaning-making" and "context formation" are indispensable. This human judgment occupies the intersection between "Convergence Knowledge"—which aggregates diverse knowledge to create new value—and "Generated Information." Furthermore, selecting generated information and making value judgments requires the existence of a "Ba" connecting AI and human knowledge, where facilitators play a crucial role in its activation. Through human intuition, empathy, and experience-based judgment, meaning is imparted to generated information, integrating it into knowledge shareable within society. This newly formed knowledge, created through human-AI collaboration, is positioned as "Co-innovation knowledge."
