Abstract
The key to the success of policies and initiatives related to "Convergence Knowledge" lies in activating the liaison function of research management resources. The liaison function of research management resources in creating "Convergence Knowledge" consists of five factors: facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration, visualizing and sharing resources, connecting with societal challenges, securing sustainable funding, and supporting the networking of personnel development. However, there is a quantitative shortage of management resources, and qualitative enhancement is also essential. Furthermore, the career paths for these personnel resources are unstable, and organizational development systems are lacking in many places, exposing vulnerabilities. To transform the existing "R&D ecosystem", the new framework involving stakeholders from across society will likely be necessary.
