It is well known that fatigue is easy to understand but difficult to define. Fatigue is something we all have experienced in varying degrees, but a clear and concise definition remains elusive. Japan Air Self-Defense Force Aeromedical Laboratory (JASDF AML) has investigated the fatigue including stressor for more than 60 years and these literature have been introduced in the JASDF AML Reports from 1958 to 2018. In the present study, we aimed to classify fatigue and stress related literature of 821 JASDF AML Reports in total. These literature could be classified into 7 categories as “Fatigue assessment”, “Aviation Physiology (Flight)”, “Aviation Physiology (Shift Work)”, “Acceleration”, “Low Pressure / Hypoxia”, “High Pressure / Hyperoxia”, and “Review of general fatigue”. In addition to the classification effort, comments and short discussions were described respectively.
