Abstract
When the spread of the COVID-19 occurred in 2020, many BLS training courses for the general publics were cancelled. BLS training courses for students who want to become clinical engineer in Okayama University of Science were also cancelled. As the spread of the COVID-19 continued, several methods were developed to continue BLS education while avoiding human contact. In this study, we focused on one such method, in which chest compressions are trained by compressing a PET bottle, and fabricated a tool for individual evaluation of chest compressions using a relatively inexpensive (less than 10,000 yen) small microcontroller module. In addition, we have developed a mock AED that can be operated by individuals at any time.
