Abstract
Interprofessional collaboration, an important factor for medical safety and high-quality care, is strongly recommended for the education of undergraduate medical and paramedical students, as it promotes the attitude for learning together and knowing each other. In the present study, we tried to clarify the recognition of the importance of teamwork among paramedical students who had participated in our interprofessional education workshop program. Twenty-two paramedical students participated in the program. Text analyses of the free descriptions of their experiences and recollections of the workshop program have shown that the participants have recognized the importance of sharing information as to their patients, the performance of which requires tight collaboration and teamwork among them.
