Abstract
By progress of the information technology, a variety of virtual societies have appeared one after another. For example, open source development is distributed all over the world, and forming the virtual organization by Internet. On the other hand, it is supposed that a face-to-face communication is required for development accompanied by research. In this paper, the project example of research and development is observed and the role which the information technology plays in communication is considered.
