Empirical Analysis of e-Local Government Investment's Impact on Regional Economy

Abstract

This research analyzes impacts of e-Local Government investment on regional economy. Some information and communication technology industries, especially software industry, tend to co-locate in areas where economic activity is spatially dense. This tendency might cause leakages of e-Local Government demand to other area. We empirically assess regional inter-industry relations of the investment based on regional input-output table.
