Evolution[MK1] of public participation system in local community and local government through the use of ICT

Abstract

Public participation system in local community and local government make evolve[MK3] through the use of ICT. In this research, we watch the actual proof experiment of the local SNS which the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications conducted in fiscal 2005, including the results of the questionnaire survey carried out during the actual proof experiment. The main purpose of this research is to make a study about how local[MK4] SNS as a new social tool can contribute to local development, local democracy and the process of building up the social capital.
