Abstract
Since the operation period of the International Space Station (ISS) will be expanded to 2020, the revision of the ISS utilization scenario is being discussed. This paper firstly summarizes the differences between Space Shuttle utilization and the ISS utilization. Then, a practical strategy how the research objectives should be set, how the concept of experiment hardware design should be, how obtained data should be treated, and how the research team should be are discussed. Finally, current strategy for the utilization of the electrostatic levitation furnace is presented.
