The Multi-purpose Small Payload Rack (MSPR) with the Chamber for Combustion Experiment (CCE) was successfully launched toward the ISS/JEM(Kibo) by HTV-2/H-IIB-2 on January, 2011. This means that new era will start for microgravity combustion research. 4 combustion related researches have been already selected as candidates for experiments on the Kibo. At present, preparation for these experiments including detail consideration of experimental plan as well as development of experiment unique hardware is on-going. Excellent scienitific output toward future innovation of combustion technology is expected from these investigations, since development of advanced combustion technology is essential for solution of energy and environmental issues. In the present report, information on facilities for combustion research on the ISS as well as on 4 planned investigations on the Kibo will be introduced. Finally, expected evolution of microgravity combustion research in next decade will be described.
