Abstract
A great deal of effort has been made on improving the efficiency of software development. From the viewpoint of knowledge management, we can consider the processes of software development as continuous activities for embodying "customer knowledge" into products. This paper clarifies the diffusion of "customer knowledge" by survey data, and finds effective media selection for obtaining "customer knowledge".
