The purpose of this study is to clarify the elements and processes necessary for the building of an internal venture team through a case study of supporting the return of an employee on leave. To this end, the internal observation method, which takes the practitioner-researcher's perspective, was employed as the field research method. If "imakoko(here and now)" can be shared in advance, information can be shared using digital tools without losing the sense of "imakoko," indicating the possibility of extending beyond time and space.

Efforts to publish open data are spreading among local governments. Open data is data that can be used for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, and is also expected to be used commercially by companies. In this research, we focus on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, which publishes examples of open data utilization. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is aware of 29 cases of use, of which 11 are cases of use by companies. The use cases by companies are not necessarily commercial use, but it is thought that it will lead to commercial use, and the possibility of commercial use of open data can be found from this result.

As the importance of human capital management has been pointed out, Japanese companies are now required to disclose information on human capital in their annual securities reports and other documents. Specifically, in addition to indicators such as the ratio of female managers, companies are now required to describe their human capital initiatives. An analysis of the descriptions revealed that most companies described diversity, and a certain amount of description of reskilling was made regardless of the industry, but there were differences by industry with regard to new concepts and ways of working. Further, a more elaborate analysis is required.

This study examines whether visual variation can be used to estimate the effectiveness of video advertising in a wide range of genres. Visual variation is an index that captures dynamic changes in video (Li et al.,2019). If there is a rapid change in the image, visual variation is high. Visual variation is low when the change in the video is gradual. Visual variation and the effect of video advertisements moved similarly to the wundt curve. However, the results of ANOVA did not show significant differences. There is a need to investigate the relationship between visual variation and the effect of video advertisements by comparing multiple conditions such as the genre of advertisements.

With the increase in Internet advertising, the use of video advertising is expanding. Studies on the timing of presenting corporate/product brands in a video advertisement are lacking. Therefore, this study tested the hypothesis that the timing of corporate/product brand disclosure at the end of a video advertisement increases product awareness compared to the beginning or middle of a video advertisement, using an accessory video advertisement as the target. Results of a randomized controlled trial in an online survey environment supported the hypothesis. This study proved the importance of the timing of revealing the corporate/product brand even in video advertisements with the same content. Video advertisements should be designed based on these scientific findings.

The number of views on YouTube is directly related to advertising revenue, so it is
important to reveal the factors
that increase the number of views views.Interesting content is important, but thumbnails about the content are more
important. If the thumbnail is not attractive, the content will not be seen. In this study, we will clarify which features
of thumbnails and titles influence video viewing. Several previous studies have pointed out that it is important for
an attractive thumbnail to include a person's face and large letters in the thumbnail. Based on these points, we will
build a mult iple regression model and clarify the influencing factors. As a result, we show that it is important to
include character images and large letters in thumbnails.

It addresses the research question of how viewing Let's Play videos influences the popularity of video game software. Utilizing data from 2022 regarding video game software sales and the number of views on YouTube videos featuring gameplay commentary, we conducted a multiple regression analysis using a negative binomial distribution model. The findings revealed that games with a strong narrative component tended to have a negative influence on their popularity and video view counts. Additionally, through interaction effect analysis, we uncovered a mechanism where even highly narrative games can boost their popularity when video view counts increase.

This study has the research question of how the experience of joint research with partners affects inter-organizational knowledge acquisition. The objective is to demonstrate the mechanism by which firms acquire knowledge of their partners outside of the joint research fields. Employing data from 171 observations involving 65 firms in the TSE industry classification Chemistry, which jointly field patents in 2014, a multiple regression analysis was conducted. The results reveal knowledge acquisition from partners outside the joint research fields is bolstered when the joint research outcomes hold greater value, and when the firm's size is smaller than partners. This study has a theoretical contribution to inter-organizational knowledge acquisition and a practical contribution that demonstrate the new value of inter-firm joint research.

This paper explores research trends and future research opportunities on the relationship between fear of failure and entrepreneurial intentions through a systematic literature review. The study found the relationship models which have direct or indirect effects and were statistically confirmed with GEM data, survey data from university students or other data. There are remediation factors on fear of failure: support from role models, support from family and friends, and enhancing resilience. Some articles assume that fear of failure consists of sub-constructs rather than a single construct. In the future, research on the relationship model is required. All the studies in the systematic literature review conduct quantitative research, for which further qualitative research will improve understanding of fear of failure in the processes of the entrepreneurial behaviors.

The objective of this study is to understand how complementors' knowledge acquisition levels influence the performance of complementary goods within a platform ecosystem. The analysis utilized the Nexus Mods dataset to examine the effects of complementors' knowledge acquisition on the performance of complementary goods. The findings indicate that the 'complementors' knowledge sharing activities' demonstrate an inverted U-shaped impact on the quality of complementary goods, while positively affecting their popularity. Additionally, the 'complementors' complementary goods production experience' influences the quality and popularity of complementary goods in both positive and negative directions, respectively. These results suggest that achieving enhancements in both the quality and popularity of complementary goods requires a thoughtful consideration of the balanced interactions between these factors.

With automation on the rise in the business world, the use of large language models (LLM) can potentially automate creative tasks, including advertisement. This leads to the need for research on automation, especially on creative tasks. Internet memes have gained popularity on social media and are frequently used by advertisers to capture attention and promote services. This study suggests that internet memes show promise in enhancing automated advertising. However, in our complex society and concerns about unpredictability and inaccuracy by LLM, it is crucial to investigate potential negative impacts on customer brand image due to automated internet meme advertisements, especially controversial advertisements and false advertising. This result will establish the strengths and weaknesses of internet meme advertising.

Specifically, the GMCR is constructed based on a model in which three players and three teams are matched by the immediate acceptance method. The GMCR we created had three teams as decision makers (DMs), and eight states were set based on how they expressed their preferences for players. Stability analyses were conducted on the GMCR, and found that states 1 and 3 were equilibria with respect to the stability concepts of Nash, GMR, SMR, and SEQ. States 5 and 7 were equilibria for GMR and SMR. For Team 2, all states were stable with respect to all stability concepts except for Nash of state 4.

In this paper, we examine the approach to organizing the concept of digital cultural capital and applying it to management information systems research, drawing on the work of Pierre Bourdieu, who conceived the concept of "cultural capital," and the work of Ollier-Malaterre et al. who extended cultural capital to "digital cultural capital." By revisiting the concept of digital cultural capital, we aim to provide a foundation for organisational research in the digital age.

In Japan,OD has been introduced and deployed with a focus on the first two,and the human aspect has not been prioritized. Therefore,we tried to develop an OD methodology based on human-centered design and community of practice, which was taken in the human aspect. The methodology was applied to a company, and then in this paper,we described its intervention process and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the cycled programs of community learning and designing practice successfully developed ordinary employees into key players in OD and that these players became nurturing conduits and cultivated an organizational culture that fostered positive experiences.

In the small- and medium-sized manufacturing industry, a problem is seen as a situation in which the initially expected effects cannot be achieved after the implementation of packaged software. The root cause is assumed to be the fact that the implementation was undertaken without any business transformation due to the lack of consensus building among the parties involved in the implementation process. To examine the root cause in detail, we extracted 35 possible concrete actions for digitalization the part of management and front-line employees, and used factor analysis (covariance structure analysis: path analysis) to clarify whether these actions are effective in forming consensus and achieving the objectives of digitalization.

In recent years, DX has been moving around the world due to the development of IT and AI. However, looking at financial institutions, regional banks and shinkin banks are showing a bias in the progress of DX. In this paper, we clarify the challenges faced by a shinkin bank in the introduction of IT, take up DX cases of Hokkoku Bank and Fukuoka Financial Group, and analyze the factors behind why they were able to carry out reforms more willingly than other organizations. As a result, we were able to find the challenges of IT and the key to promoting DX.

In the food industry, it has been widely demonstrated that the appearance of food affects consumers' purchasing behavior. However, in this industry, studies on the effect of food color as topping on consumer impression are scarce. Hence, we tested the following hypothesis; Addition of color by food toppings enhances the appeal of the product. The effect was evaluated by comparing the color topping (paprika) with flavor topping (sunny-side up). The hypothesis was supported by a randomized controlled trial in an online survey environment in 300 people in their late teens to 60s. The effect of color topping was the same as that of flavor topping.

In the case of products with a Japanese image, there is a concern that foreign language descriptions aimed at enhancing fashionability will cause a mismatch in the image. These will reduce the attractiveness of the product. However, existing literature has little discussion of these negative aspects. Therefore, in this study, we conducted a randomized controlled trial to clarify the influence of English writing and cursive writing on product attractiveness, targeting tea product names. As a result, the adoption of only Japanese as the language has increased the attractiveness. Regarding cursive, we confirmed that even if the readability was impaired, the attractiveness was not affected. The results suggests that design should be decided appropriately considering negative effects such as non-conformity of product image.

In Japan, it's required to utilize local government health data, but challenges arise due to its vast scale and the complexity of creating understandable models. A study employed Bayesian networks for regional medical analysis, using U.S. open data for evaluation. While networks built with feature selection algorithms were less accurate than fully connected ones, they were better in terms of model complexity. Interestingly, the model revealed a higher proportion of high blood pressure among non-smokers, possibly due to nicotine's effects on appetite and stress. Future analysis will use KDB to understand regional health patterns.

Recently, the tasks of dietitians for lunch management require IT skills. In addition, the MEXT has established the “Mathematics, Data Science, and AI Education Program Certification System'' and is preparing for the introduction of this system. However, students often show that they are not good at creating menus or operating PCs. Therefore, a case study was conducted on the process of improving the education program by introducing IT in a dietitian training course of a junior college. A nutrition calculation software that can be easily used by students was developed on Excel and introduced. It was verified whether the students became interested in creating menus, became fond of computer operation in connection with mathematics and data science education.

Existing studies pointed out that a platform (PF) with many users has a decided competitive advantage because of the network effect. However, in recent years, there are problems that some new users behave maliciously in the PF, as the number of PF users increases. Thus, some studies analyzed the impact of user quality management on trust in the platform. But strict user controls may have a negative impact on the value of the platform because they cause users to experience more hassle. Therefore, this study attempted to clarify the impact of user quality management on platform value in the early stage and late stage of the diffusion of PF by performing a questionnaire survey and conducting structural equation modeling.
