Abstract
As the main activity of the information utilization in logistics, the unification of the inventory management and demand forecast improvement are given. If seeing these activities from the viewpoint of the inter-organizational information utilization, it is possible to assume that the former is information sharing and the latter is knowledge creation. In this research, we verify the difference of what performance is seen to both in the scene of the actual logistics. In case of verification, we deal with Kao Corporation which is the leader company of the toiletry industry and Lion Corporation which is the follower company of the same industry. We set three performance measurement indexes of inventory, cost and service and analyze the trend.
